The ant walks / 蟻は歩いて行く(2018)

一匹の蟻の歩いた軌跡を辿り、「蟻が歩いてゆく」 と文字が軌跡を追いかけていく。文字は普通まっすぐに書かれる。それは文字ができた時に、紙ができて、四角くなってきてからだんだんと決まっていったことだ。しかし、「蟻が歩いてゆく」という文字が書かれるためには蟻の跡であることが一番嘘がないと思い今作に至った。「蟻が歩いてゆく」 の中に一文のみ「蟻が溢れている」と書いてある。慣用句「本の虫」より。

Following the trajectory of one ant walking, letters follow "the path of ants walking". Characters are usually written straight. That is when the letters are made, paper has been made, it gradually decided after it became square. However, in order to write the letters "ants walking", I thought that being the trace of an ant is the lie most, and it came to this work. In one sentence "Ant is walking", it says "the ant is overflowing." From the idiomatic phrase "Bug's book".
